A Pillar of
Fire is a historical fiction novel. This book is the third part of Kingsbridge’s
Pillars of the Earth series. The foreground is the war of religions that took
place in Europe from 1562 onwards, as well as the dispute for the English
throne between Elizabeth Tudor and Mary Stuart.
This book is very good, but it was hard to read, as it has many characters and families. It was difficult at the beginning, until you get to know the characters.
I recommend it.
