A Pillar of Fire

A Pillar of Fire is a historical fiction novel. This book is the third part of Kingsbridge’s Pillars of the Earth series. The foreground is the war of religions that took place in Europe from 1562 onwards, as well as the dispute for the English throne between Elizabeth Tudor and Mary Stuart.

 This book is very good, but it was hard to read, as it has many characters and families. It was difficult at the beginning, until you get to know the characters.

 I recommend it.

Opinion – description – classification + noun

In English, when a noun is preceded by several adjectives, they must be placed in a certain order.

For example, we usually say: «She drives a huge red truck»;

 

Pronuntiation 

 

Although it is correct to use 'where' in these sentences, it is more common (especially in the United States) to use 'at' when talking about where we are staying:

The hotel where we stayed  was very comfortable

The hotel we stayed at was very comfortable

San Francisco lies under a cloud of radioactive dust. People live in half - deserted apartments building, and keep electric animals as pets because so many reals animals have died. Most people emigrate to Mars - unless they have a job to do on Earth.

The book is fine and reading is easy.
